· Guests from the Netherlands
Mountains To Prairies Bed and Breakfast
M2P is privileged to provide a few days lodging in Hill City, South Dakota for guests visiting the Black Hills from the Netherlands...often referred to as Holland, though North and South Holland are but 2 of 12 provinces of the Netherlands. About 20 percent of land and people are below sea level. Click Wikipedia for interesting facts and to see photos of a FRISIAN HOLSTEIN and beautiful TULIPS in the Netherlands.

· M2P Neighbors of 1880 Train
Mountains To Prairies Bed and Breakfast
M2P and Smiling Bear Espresso Bar are just across East Main Street from the 1880 Train (Black Hills Central Railroad), as seen far right in the first photo below. The second photo shows a late 1800's Early American Pressed Glass platter depicting a train very similar to the steam train that we know as our neighbor! The platter was recently sold here at Smiling Bear's Antiques Shop (click pic to enlarge).

· Happy 4th of July!
☆ Happy 4th of July everyone! ☆
☆ While serving breakfast this morning, we appointed our littlest resident granddaughter to be our Twinkling Star. Her job, between serving guests, is to SPARKLE by each one of us and keep us smiling!!!
☆ The girls want to see Custer's fireworks tonight. After church we plan to adventure to Custer State Park and the Wildlife Loop, as well as hike the Cathedral Spires trail.
☆
God bless America
